Our Commitments

Editorial Standards

Speed & Spirit Media is committed to independent motorsport journalism that is accurate, fair, clearly presented, and grounded in original reporting from the racetrack.

Independence

Editorial judgment remains with Speed & Spirit Media. Coverage, criticism, story selection, and conclusions are not offered in exchange for access, hospitality, products, or commercial relationships. Sponsored or partner-supported work will be identified clearly.

Accuracy & Attribution

We work to verify names, teams, results, technical details, quotations, and event information before publication. Information from other organizations is attributed, while analysis and commentary are distinguished from reported fact.

Fairness & Context

Our reporting seeks relevant context and represents people and organizations accurately. When a story contains significant criticism or a disputed claim, we make a reasonable effort to seek an appropriate response.

Photography & Visual Integrity

Our documentary photography is intended to represent events faithfully. Standard editorial adjustments may be made for exposure, color, cropping, and clarity, but images presented as documentary work are not altered in ways that misrepresent the scene. Original photography is credited to the photographer, including James Hedley, Lead Photographer, where applicable.

Corrections

When a material factual error is confirmed, we correct it promptly and transparently. Readers, teams, drivers, and representatives may submit a correction request with supporting detail through our contact page.

Editorial & Commercial Separation

Advertising, licensing, partnerships, and commissioned photography do not determine the conclusions of independent editorial coverage. Any material relationship relevant to a story will be disclosed where appropriate.
